ON BEING OF AN AGE

Helen Mirren at 66 is voted sexiest woman alive or something like that.  I immediately think that for crying out loud I looked terrific at 66, so what’s so incredible about that?  Now I note that just writing those three words FCOL I date myself, but it is still a fine expression.  Now Jane Fonda at age 73 writes a book  called Prime Time.  We all know that one woman’s prime time is another woman’s year of horror, but let’s go with Jane.  Let’s remember she was an actress then a fitness guru and finally an actress again and she was married to Ted Turner for awhile.  These elements make for a varied and sometimes hectic, maybe even an aging lifestyle. But I also picture her with trainers and diet fixers and all those good things that I envy.. My question is, is it fair for her to tell the rest of us what it is all about to age?  Just asking!!!!
